Ahhh-Cherry! Springtime Oral Allergy Syndrome . . . Redux

Two years ago, I wrote a post about Oral Allergy Syndrome which you can read HERE.

Since that time, my daughter, who has seasonal Hay Fever, has had oral food allergy reactions to these foods: raw apples, raw carrots, hazelnuts and peanuts. Once in a while, cherries. Her list is similar, but not identical to, my husband's Oral Allergy Food List. The probable culprit is the Birch Pollen Allergy. Sufferers can react to a long list of foods including certain fruits, nuts and vegetables.
Allergy Parenting is a prime example of the idiom: The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
(So don't eat it.)
